Refund Policy for Photo Sessions and Prints
In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents Timber Wave Photography from shooting on a scheduled date, a new date will be scheduled or the client may choose to receive a full refund of his or her purchase.
Due to the nature of digital photography (and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned), Timber Wave Photography has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY for ordered prints from the gallery. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer has selected and paid for the photo and then Timber Wave Photography has sent the buyer the correct photograph), it is then considered non-refundable. If a buyer has selected and purchased an incorrect photo, he or she must notify Timber Wave Photography before receiving the “incorrect” photograph.
Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason. If a mistaken photo is sent to the buyer, as documented on the invoice, Timber Wave Photography will send the correct photo to the buyer free of charge.
Timber Wave Photography does, of course, guarantee that the Portraits and Prints you receive meet the highest standards in every respect, and works with customers to approve designs before orders are placed.
For Family Photo Sessions or Portrait Sessions, the hourly fee is due on the day of the session. The editing fee of $25/hr is billed after the customer approves the photos taken during the session. Though a specific editing timeframe cannot be guaranteed, a family photo session generally takes 1-2 hours. The customer will receive an email with their photos attached for approval within 3-5 business days after the scheduled session.
